Stripe is the payment gateway that Zenamu uses to accept online payments by card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Each payment involves fees. This article explains what fees to expect and how to reduce them.
Stripe transaction fees
Stripe charges its own transaction fee for each online payment. The standard rate for cards issued in the EU is typically 1.5% + €0.25 (the rate may vary by country and card type). You can find the current pricing at stripe.com/pricing.
Zenamu platform fee
In addition to Stripe's fee, Zenamu may apply a platform fee depending on your subscription plan:

Stripe Express account
When you connect to Stripe through Zenamu, a Stripe Express account is created for you. This is the standard setup that allows payments to work automatically. You can manage your Stripe account via the link in Settings > Payments > Stripe.
Stripe KYC (identity verification)
Stripe is obligated to verify your details under international anti-fraud and anti-money laundering regulations. Once you reach a certain revenue threshold, Stripe may request additional identity verification — such as an ID scan, business registration extract, or proof of address.
If you see a message in Zenamu asking you to provide additional information:
Go to Settings > Payments > Stripe.
Follow the instructions or click the link to your Stripe Dashboard.
In the Stripe Dashboard, check the Verification or Requirements section and provide the requested information.
Important: If you don't provide the required information in time, Stripe may suspend your ability to accept card payments. The deadline will be displayed in the Zenamu admin panel.
How to reduce fees
Upgrade your plan — on Expert and Ultimate plans, Zenamu does not charge any platform fee.
Offer bank transfer — no Stripe fees are charged for bank transfers.
Offer PayPal — as an alternative to Stripe with different fee rates.
Minimum card payment amount
Stripe requires a minimum amount to process a card payment. For lower-priced orders, card payment is not available to clients. The specific minimum amount is displayed in your settings.
