How to Create an Online Class in Zenamu

Updated yesterday

Accepting Payments for Online Classes

You can accept payments for online classes in several ways:

A method that requires manual payment verification is bank transfer. Bank transfer payment is optional and can be enabled or disabled in your settings.

Creating an Online Class

Before you start, make sure you've set up card payments, bank transfer payments, or have an active credit or entry pass system.

The first step is the same as creating a regular in-studio class -- click the "New open class" button.

2. Enter Class Details: If you don’t have class templates, enter the required details such as class name, date, time, description, and duration. For the class format, select Online.

3. Add Class Link and Instructions: If you have the online meeting link ready (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet), paste it into the appropriate field. You can also include additional instructions and a password if needed. Fill in other required details and publish the class.

Tip

Zenamu doesn't support hybrid classes directly, but you can still create a class that's both in-person and streamed online. Simply create two identical classes at the same time -- one set as physical and the other as online. They'll appear side by side on the calendar, and clients can choose whichever format suits them.

The class link and instructions are hidden from participants until they’ve booked and paid. If payment is pending (e.g., via bank transfer), participants receive a confirmation email with your payment details but won’t see the class link until you manually confirm payment. You can do this from the class details under the Participants section.

If participants paid with a pass or card at the time of booking, they receive an automatic email with the link and your instructions.

Creating an Online Class Without a Link

If you don’t have a link ready yet, you can leave the link field blank and publish the class. Participants will receive a confirmation email after booking, but the link won’t be there -- not even after payment. They’ll only see it once you add it to the class. The information will also be sent to their email automatically.

Don’t worry about forgetting -- Zenamu will send you an automatic reminder email so you can add the link in time.
