Want to let your clients pay with PayPal? Good news — Zenamu makes it easy. Your clients can check out using their PayPal balance or any card linked to their account. Here's how to get started.
Why PayPal?
PayPal is trusted by millions of people in over 200 countries. And unlike some payment providers, you can set up a PayPal Business account in just a few minutes without lengthy approval processes.
What does it cost?
Connecting PayPal to Zenamu is completely free. You'll only pay PayPal's standard transaction fees — a small percentage of each payment plus a fixed amount per transaction. The exact rates depend on your country and the payment method used.
Check PayPal's fee page for current rates in your region.
A note on platform fees
If you're on a Free, Lite, or Professional plan, Zenamu adds a small platform fee on top of PayPal's charges. Upgraded to Expert or Ultimate? Then you won't pay any Zenamu fees on PayPal transactions.
Let's connect your account
1. Head over to Settings → Payments and click on PayPal. You'll see a button labeled Connect PayPal Account.
2. This takes you to PayPal's site. Already have a Business account? Just log in. Starting fresh? You can create one right there — it only takes a few minutes.
3. PayPal will ask you to grant Zenamu permission to process payments on your behalf. Follow the prompts — it's pretty straightforward.
4. Done? Great. You'll land back in Zenamu, and your PayPal connection status should appear in the Payments settings.
5. One more thing: if PayPal asks you to verify your email, don't skip it. Check your inbox (and spam folder, just in case) for their confirmation link. Without this step, you won't be able to receive payments.
6. Once everything's set up, you can manage your PayPal account anytime at PayPal Business Dashboard.
Something not working?
If Zenamu shows a warning that your PayPal setup isn't complete, just click Connect PayPal Account again. PayPal will pick up where you left off.
A few things to double-check:
Email verification pending? Look for PayPal's confirmation email. Sometimes it ends up in spam.
Can't receive payments yet? Log into PayPal directly and see if they're asking for additional verification — ID, business details, that sort of thing.
Setup got interrupted? No problem. Just click the connect button in Zenamu to pick up where you left off.
