This article explains the iCal link: a personal calendar link that keeps your classes, course sessions, events and appointments from Zenamu in your own calendar. It isn't the Continue with Google sign-in, which doesn't add anything to Google Calendar.
This works not only with Google Calendar but also with Apple Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, and any other calendar that supports iCal URL import.
The iCal link isn't available on the free Getting Started plan and the Lite plan. On those plans, the iCal box shows information about upgrading instead of the link. All other plans have it, including the trial.
The integration is one-way — it only syncs from Zenamu to your calendar. If you create a new class or cancel one in Zenamu, it will be reflected in your personal calendar. However, changes made directly in your personal calendar won't affect Zenamu.
Getting the iCal URL for Your Calendar
1. Obtain the iCal URL from Zenamu
Go to Settings › Schedule page and open the Public schedule tab.
Scroll down to the iCal box (Google/Apple Calendar integration), below Widgets for your website with the codes for embedding the schedule into your own webpage.
Click How do I do this? and copy the link with the copy icon.
The link is personal. It contains only the sessions you teach yourself: classes and course sessions where you're the instructor, events you lead, and appointments where you're the specialist. The Schedule page is available only to users with the Administrator role, so each administrator sees their own link there.
2. Add the iCal URL to Google Calendar
Open your Google Calendar.
In the left menu under Other calendars, click the plus button "+".
Select From URL from the options.
Paste the iCal URL that you copied from Zenamu into the provided field.
Click Add Calendar and wait a few seconds for synchronization to complete. The Zenamu calendar should now appear among your other calendars. If your classes are not visible immediately, try refreshing your browser.
Data synchronization between Zenamu and your calendar is not real-time. It depends on your calendar app's settings and current load — it can take seconds, minutes, or in rare cases, a few hours.
What's Included in the iCal Sync (and What's Not)
