This article is about cancelling your studio's own Zenamu subscription (your Zenamu plan). If you want to cancel or pause a membership one of your clients pays for, see Managing existing members — pause, resume, cancel.
How do I cancel my Zenamu subscription?
Open the Plan page. On a computer, click the Plan button in the top bar next to your profile menu. On a phone, open the main menu and tap Plan. Only users with Administrator permissions (the super admin role) can open this page.
Click Cancel subscription.
Confirm with Yes, cancel my subscription.
What happens after I cancel my Zenamu subscription?
Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for. After that, it won't renew and you won't be charged again.
There's no notice period. The payment for the current month or year isn't refunded.
When the paid period ends, your account switches to the free plan. The free plan has a limit of 30 orders per month and doesn't include courses, events, passes, credits or memberships.
Your classes, clients, history and settings stay in your account.
If you change your mind before the paid period ends, click Continue subscription on the Plan page.
The Zenamu plan can't be paused. If you only need a break (for example over the summer), cancel before your next renewal date and subscribe again when you're back. More in How billing for your Zenamu plan works.
What Happens to My Plan if I Cancel and Subscribe Again Later?
When you subscribe to Zenamu, your plan includes the price and features available at the time you start your subscription. If we later update our plans, prices or included features, your current subscription conditions remain unchanged for as long as your subscription stays active.
This means that existing subscribers can continue using Zenamu under the conditions they originally agreed to, even if our public pricing changes later.
How do I know if my plan is an older one?
On the Plan page, a plan that is no longer offered has the badge Old. This applies to Lite, Professional, Expert 2024 (in CZK, EUR and PLN) and Ultimate 2025 (in HUF). A year appears in the plan name only when a newer version of the same plan exists in your currency.
If you cancel your subscription
If you decide to cancel your subscription, any special or previously preserved conditions connected to that subscription end together with it.
Before you confirm the cancellation, Zenamu will show you a notice explaining that these preserved conditions will not automatically carry over if you decide to subscribe again in the future.
What this means in practice
If you cancel and later subscribe again, your new subscription will use the plans, prices and features available at that time. You can always find the current overview at zenamu.com/pricing.
Your previous subscription conditions cannot be restored after cancellation, because they were tied to a subscription that is no longer active.
Your data stays safe. Your classes, clients, history and settings remain in your account and will be ready for you if you come back. Only the subscription conditions may change — not your saved content.
Why we handle it this way
We keep older subscription conditions for clients who stay with Zenamu continuously as a way of respecting the agreement they started with.
At the same time, when a subscription is cancelled and later restarted, the new subscription begins under the current publicly available conditions. This helps us keep our pricing clear, consistent and fair for both long-term subscribers and returning clients.
Not sure whether to cancel?
We understand that this may be an important decision, especially if your current plan includes conditions that are no longer available.
If you are unsure, we recommend taking a moment to review your options before confirming the cancellation. Once the subscription is cancelled, the preserved conditions tied to it cannot be restored.
