How to Subscribe to a Zenamu Plan

This article explains how to buy a paid Zenamu plan for your studio and what to do when a card payment for your plan fails. It isn't about the memberships or passes your clients buy from you. If a client's recurring membership payment failed, see When a payment fails.

How do I buy a plan?

During the trial or on the Free plan, click Buy subscription in the top bar. On a phone, open the main menu, tap Plan and then tap Buy subscription. If the top bar shows Plan instead (for example, after an earlier subscription ended), click Plan and then Buy subscription. Only users with Administrator permissions (the super admin role) can buy a plan.

Need help choosing a plan? See the full pricing & feature comparison at zenamu.com/pricing — that page lists all plans (Free, Standard, Expert, Ultimate) with current prices, monthly order limits and every feature side by side. For a short overview, see Which Plan Is Right for You?

In Order details, choose whether to pay monthly or annually, and pick your plan.

In Billing details, fill in your billing details and choose how you'd like to pay: Card payment or Bank transfer.

Note: Bank transfer is available only for annual plans billed in CZK or EUR. For other plans, pay by card.

In Summary, check your order, tick the box to agree to the terms and click Order with obligation to pay. Then pay by card, or, if you chose a bank transfer, pay using the details on the payment request. Your plan is activated once the payment is received.

My Subscription Payment Didn't Go Through — What Do I Do?

If the automatic card payment for your Zenamu plan fails, Zenamu sends an email to the person who created your Zenamu account, and the payment is tried again automatically. You don't have to do anything immediately, but it helps to know where to look and how to fix things if needed.

Where to check the status: open the Plan page. On a computer, click Plan in the top bar next to your profile menu. On a phone, open the main menu and tap Plan. In Zenamu subscription payments, a failed payment has the status Payment failed. Zenamu doesn't show the reason for the failure; the most common reasons are listed below.

Common reasons a payment fails:

  • Insufficient funds — top up your account and wait for the next automatic attempt.

  • Expired card — replace the card on the Plan page: in Subscription payment method, click Change and enter the new card. The next payment attempts use the new card.

  • Bank blocks online payments — enable them in your banking app and wait for the next automatic attempt.

  • Single-transaction limit too low — contact your bank to raise it.

Can I retry the payment myself? No, there's no button to retry a failed plan payment. Once you've fixed the cause or changed the card, the next automatic attempt tries to charge the card again.

What happens if every retry fails

If the third payment attempt fails too, your subscription is cancelled and your studio moves to the Free plan. Paid features stop working, but your data and clients stay intact. To get a paid plan again, open the Plan page, click Buy subscription and choose a plan.
