My Subscription Payment Didn't Go Through — What Do I Do?
If your bank declines the subscription payment, Zenamu automatically retries it — usually within the next 4 days. You don't have to do anything immediately, but it helps to know where to look and how to fix things if needed.
Where to check the status: open Settings → Subscription. You'll see the latest payment attempt and the reason for any failure (for example insufficient funds, expired card, or card declined).
Common reasons a payment fails:
Insufficient funds — top up your account and wait for the next automatic retry, or trigger a manual retry.
Expired card — update your card in Settings → Subscription.
Bank blocks online payments — enable them in your banking app, then retry.
Single-transaction limit too low — contact your bank to raise it.
How to trigger a manual retry: in Settings → Subscription click Retry payment.
What happens if every retry fails
If the automatic retries all fail, your plan drops to Free. Paid features stop working, but your data and clients stay intact. To restore your previous plan, fix the payment issue and resubscribe via Settings → Subscription → Change plan.
