Stripe payouts: when will I receive the money for card payments?

Payout schedule

This article is about when money from your clients' card payments reaches your bank account. It applies to all card payments in Zenamu, not only events: classes, courses, appointments, passes, memberships and everything else clients pay for by card. Card payments go to your own Stripe account, and Stripe then pays the money out to your bank account. Zenamu doesn't make the payouts and has no payout settings.

Where do I set when Stripe pays out the money?

You manage your payout schedule directly in your Stripe payment gateway settings.

Adjust it in your Stripe Dashboard at https://dashboard.stripe.com/ by selecting the payout frequency that works best for you.

Why does money for a class paid by card take a few days to reach Stripe?

A card payment for a class or a single course session is often only authorized (held) on the client's card at first. Zenamu charges it at the latest when the class starts or 6 days after the booking, whichever comes first. Only after that does the money count toward your next Stripe payout. For more about held card payments, see Canceled payments.
