Managing Specialists and Assigning Them to Services

Updated today

A specialist is the person who provides your services — a trainer, therapist, masseuse, counselor, or anyone else who works directly with clients. For clients to book an appointment, at least one specialist must be assigned to each service.

Assigning a specialist to a service

  1. Go to Menu → Appointments → Specialists.

  2. Select the service you want to assign a specialist to.

  3. Click Add specialist.

  4. Choose a person from your studio's list of instructors/trainers.

Specialist profile

Each specialist assigned to a service has a profile visible to clients on the public booking page.

Custom pricing

Each specialist can have custom pricing that differs from the base service prices. This is useful when, for example, more experienced specialists charge higher rates.

Custom prices are set for each combination of specialist and duration variant:

  • If you don't set custom prices for a specialist, the base service prices are used.

  • If you do set custom prices, they are shown to clients instead of the base prices.

Example

The service "Personal Training 60 min" has a base price of €50. Senior trainer John can have a custom price of €80, while junior trainer Sarah offers the same service at the base price of €50.

One specialist, multiple services

A single specialist can be assigned to multiple services at the same time. For example, a trainer might offer both personal training and nutrition counseling. For each service, they can have a different description and different pricing.

Activating and deactivating a specialist

You can deactivate a specialist for a specific service at any time without removing them entirely. A deactivated specialist doesn't appear on the public page for that service, but their existing bookings remain valid.

Once you have specialists assigned, you need to set their availability — this is covered in "Setting Up Specialist Availability".
