For a recurring membership, the price you set is always the price for the whole interval you choose — not for each individual month within it.
The price is charged to the client once at the start of each period, and when that period ends the membership renews automatically and the same amount is charged again for the next period. This repeats until the membership is cancelled.
Example — a 3-month membership: If you set a duration of 3 months and a price, the client pays that price once every three months (quarterly). After the three months, the membership renews automatically and the same amount is charged again for the next three-month period. It is not split into three separate monthly payments.
Frequently asked:
- Is the client charged every month or every 3 months? → Every 3 months (once per period), if the interval is set to 3 months.
- Is the price per month or for the whole period? → For the whole period you set.
- Does it renew by itself? → Yes, it renews automatically and charges again each period until cancelled.
- How do I bill monthly instead? → Set the interval to 1 month, so the client is charged every month.
In short: one payment for the whole period, charged at the start and repeated automatically every period. To charge monthly, set the interval to 1 month.
