If your clients pay when they arrive at your studio, you can set type of payment.
In Settings → Payments → In Person , you can choose which payment methods you accept at your location:
Cash
Card (using your own payment terminal, Credit/Debit)
What is this setting for?
This setting lets your clients know in advance which payment methods are available when paying at your studio.
For example, if you accept both cash and card payments via a payment terminal, you can display this information during the booking process so clients know what to expect.
Is "Card payment on-site" the same as an online card payment?
No.
Card payment on-site means the client pays at your studio using your own payment terminal.
Online card payment is processed through Stripe during the booking process, before the client arrives.
Can I record how the client paid?
Yes.
When you mark a booking as paid on-site, you can choose whether the payment was made by cash or card. This ensures that invoices and receipts display the correct payment method for your accounting.
You can change it retroactively too in order detail.
FAQ:
I have Stripe enabled. Do I still need this setting?
Yes. Stripe is used for online payments made during the booking process. The Pay In Person payment methods are used when the client pays you in person at your studio.
Can I accept both cash and card on-site?
Yes. You can enable both options so clients know they can choose either payment method when they arrive.
