Space rental is one of the features on the higher plans. This article explains which plan you need, what fees come with renting, who covers the cost when money is refunded, and what happens if you move to a lower plan.
Which plan you need
You can offer your space for rent on the Ultimate plan. You can also try the feature during the trial.
On lower plans, offering rentals isn't available. If you run into the feature and your plan doesn't include it, Zenamu lets you know and offers to move you to a higher plan.
No commission from Zenamu
Zenamu takes no commission from your rentals. You get the full rental amount — to your Stripe account for card payments, to your PayPal account for PayPal, and directly from the renter for transfers and payments at the studio.
The only cost that comes with an online payment is the transaction fee charged by Stripe (or PayPal) for processing it. That fee is the same for every online payment in your studio, and Zenamu has no effect on it.
What happens with refunds
When a renter is refunded — whether because a request was rejected, the studio cancelled, or the cancellation policy kicked in — the online payment goes back automatically from the same account it landed in (Stripe for cards, PayPal for PayPal), in the amount set by the booking's cancellation policy. Transfers and payments at the studio you refund to the renter directly, and you mark them as refunded in the Orders section.
What Zenamu can't affect is the Stripe or PayPal transaction fee for processing the original payment. The provider doesn't return that fee when money is refunded, so the studio covers it. It's a necessary cost that comes with taking online payments.
Moving to a lower plan
If you move from the Ultimate plan to a lower one that doesn't include rentals, Zenamu automatically pauses your listings. They stop being publicly visible, and no one can make new bookings.
Bookings that are already confirmed stay valid and go ahead as agreed. But you won't be able to add new listings or take new bookings.
Paused listings stay in the admin. If you go back to the Ultimate plan, you can publish them again. That happens when you decide to — they won't switch back on by themselves.
