Creating an Account in Zenamu for Studios or Individual Instructors: A Step-by-Step Guide

Updated yesterday

You've decided to simplify how you organize your classes -- the most important decision is already behind you. Now all that's left is to create your Zenamu account and start enjoying its benefits.

Let's walk through it step by step.

1. Creating Your Account

Click the registration link on our website.

Below is an example of the registration form. You can also customize the URL of your unique schedule page. For instance, if your studio is called Studio at the Great Yogi, you can choose great-yogi to make the address simpler.

2. Filling in Your Account Details

Account setup starts with the Address page, where you provide the address of your studio or location.

The next step is First Practice Location -- this is the hall or park where you teach your classes. Indicate whether the address is the same as the one you entered in the previous step or different. If you choose "a different address," a short form will appear for you to enter the new address.

The last step is the Your Zenamu Account page, where you enter your first name, last name, and the password you'll use to log in.

We recommend creating a strong password with upper and lower case letters, at least one number, and at least one special character.

Everything correct? Click Done and your account is created.

3. Exploring the Zenamu Interface

After creating your account, Zenamu will take you to the main interface for managing your schedule. Want to try creating your first class right away? Click on New Open Class.

New Open Class

A class creation window will open. Fill in the title, description (e.g., what the class involves and who it's suitable for), date, time, and length. You can also set up regular weekly repetitions.

Choose the venue format, capacity, and location (at this point you’ll have only one location saved in the system, but you can add more in the app settings and select them as needed). Set the price and you’re ready to publish!

Will you be entering the same information over and over? Simplify the process with templates, which you can manage through Settings or directly from the top of the creation window.

Class Creation

In the main Zenamu interface, you can also choose your preferred schedule view. Prefer to see the entire current week with all classes? Choose the first option. Prefer a list of upcoming classes in order? Click the second option.

The third option (the eye icon) takes you to the public view of your schedule, so you can see exactly how it appears to your clients.

As mentioned in step one, your studio gets a unique URL for your schedule that you can share with clients. What does it look like in practice? Here's the schedule for the fictitious Studio at the Great Yogi, with a Dynamic Morning Flow class every Wednesday at 9am for up to 10 participants.

We also recommend exploring the other tabs in the left sidebar: Clients Overview, All Orders Overview, Your Subscription, and Settings. In Settings, you can configure bookings, instructors, class templates, payment options, and more.
