Manually creating classes with the same title, description, or price every time can be tedious. That’s why Zenamu lets you create templates for open classes. Fill in the template once, and then create identical classes with just one click.
How to Set Up a Template
After logging in to your account, click the gear icon Settings at the bottom of the sidebar.
This takes you to Settings, where you can modify your public schedule or create teaching locations. For now, click on Class Templates.
To create a new template, click Add.
A window will appear, similar to when creating a new class. The template name is for your reference only. Other details -- class title, description, format, capacity, and duration (in minutes) -- will be visible to your clients, but you can always adjust them when creating each class.
If you offer discounted prices for specific groups (e.g., seniors, students), add these by clicking on Other Pricing Options.
Once you’re happy with the details, click Save. The template will now appear in the Class Templates section.
Using Your Template
Now using the template couldn't be simpler. Go to Schedule in the sidebar and click Create new session > New open class.
The first item in the window is Template. Select the template you created. All relevant information will be pre-filled. You can keep it as is or make adjustments before publishing.
You can create as many templates as you need, saving you plenty of time when setting up new classes.
Important: changing a template does not update existing classes
If you update a template (e.g., change the price or description), the change will only apply to new classes created from that template going forward. Classes that were already created from the template will keep their original settings.
If you need to update the price or other details for already scheduled classes, you'll need to edit each one individually.
