How to Migrate from Your Previous System and Import Clients

To save you the hassle of re-entering all your clients manually, we offer migration of your existing clients from your current booking system to Zenamu, including any unused passes or credits.

Simply prepare a client list and contact us.

How Does the Migration Process Work?

The goal of the migration is to have your client list in Zenamu:

1. Export Your Data from Your Current Booking System

  • Export your client data from your current system.

  • The export process varies by system but is usually available in the administration section, often behind an export button.

  • The preferred format is CSV (a text file where data is separated by commas), but an Excel file (XLS, XLSX) is also acceptable.

Required information for migration:

  • Client's first and last name

  • Client's email (required if you want clients to have accounts with entries or credits)*

  • Number of remaining entries or credits (optional)

  • Client's phone number (optional)

  • Consent to receive newsletters (optional)

A sample CSV file might look like this:

name and surname, email, entries, credits, phone, consent

Optional values can be left blank but must be separated by commas and follow the correct sequence.

2. Import into Zenamu

Share the file with us and we'll automatically import your clients into Zenamu.

  • 1) We'll take your file and import it into the system

  • All your clients, including their entries/credits, will appear in your system.

  • Their registration status will initially be "Client does not have a Zenamu account (unregistered user)".

  • 2) An invitation email will be sent to your clients

  • 3) Clients will create their Zenamu accounts

  • Your clients will receive an email invitation to join your calendar in Zenamu.

  • If a client registers with the same email, their entries/credits will be automatically assigned to them, and they'll take control of their own account.

Do All Clients Need to Receive an Email?

For clients who have passes or credits in the original system, sending an invitation to Zenamu is necessary so they can register and access their account.

However, if none of your clients have entries or credits, the email step isn't strictly necessary.

If a client's email is missing, we won't be able to send them an invitation.

Important

Clients must be registered and logged into Zenamu to use their entries or credits independently.

Alternatives to Client Import

  • If you don't want to import clients in bulk, or if you're transitioning from a completely offline system (like paper passes), you can gradually add clients to Zenamu manually, including their entries or credits.
