This article explains how to install the Zenamu mobile app on iOS and Android, and why the app can show Book this session to a client who is already booked on a course. The mobile app is app.zenamu.com added to your home screen, so it shows the same pages and buttons as Zenamu in a browser.
We use PWA technology — fast installation, no need for Google Play or the App Store!
Installation on iOS
Open app.zenamu.com in Safari or Chrome, or scan the QR code:
Tap the 'Share' icon
Tap 'Add to Home Screen'
That's it! You'll find the app on your home screen.
Installation on Android
Open app.zenamu.com in Chrome or Firefox, or scan the QR code:
Tap the three-dot menu
Tap 'Install App'
That's it! You'll find the app on your home screen.
Why does the app show "Book this session" when the client is already booked on the course?
The Book this session button on a course session doesn't mean the client's course booking is missing. The button starts a new booking of that one session (single-session booking of a course). Zenamu doesn't check whether the person looking at the page already has a booking, so the button can appear next to the client's existing booking. The same button appears in a browser; it isn't specific to the mobile app.
Clients see Book this session on a course session when all of these are true:
The course has a visible pricing option for a single session, such as Price per session. These options have the note "Price for one session when there are open spots ("open class" mode)."
The time set in Settings › Bookings and rules › Bookings › Open course spots has been reached. By default, single sessions can be booked from 1 day before the first session of the course.
The session still has a free spot, isn't cancelled, and isn't in the past.
Don't let clients book this class isn't checked for the course.
Can a studio hide the "Book this session" button?
Yes, but only for everyone. Zenamu has no option to hide the button just for clients who are already booked. You have these options:
Stop selling single sessions of the course: go to Courses & events, open the course, click Edit course, and delete the single-session pricing options (such as Price per session) with the trash icon. Save the course. Clients can then only book the whole course, and the button disappears. Bookings that were already made aren't affected.
Offer single sessions later: in Settings › Bookings and rules › Bookings › Open course spots, check After the first session or change How long before the first session?. This setting applies to all courses and only changes from when the button appears.
Stop all online booking of the course: check Don't let clients book this class in the course's Advanced booking settings. This also blocks booking the whole course, so use it only if clients shouldn't book the course online at all.
