This article explains how clients can book the remaining sessions of a course that has already started, and how Zenamu calculates the price. It isn't about booking a single session of a course; for that, see I’ve set a single session price for the course, but it doesn’t seem to appear.
How do I let clients book a course that has already started?
When you create or edit the course (Edit course), find the section Booking remaining sessions after the course starts and tick Allow. The option is unticked by default for a new course. Without it, clients can't book the course once its first session has started, and they see Course in progress.
How is the price calculated?
If you've ticked Allow under Booking remaining sessions after the course starts in your course settings:
The price will be calculated as follows:
Price = (Total course price ÷ Number of non-cancelled sessions) × Number of remaining sessions
Remaining sessions are the sessions that haven't started yet and aren't cancelled.
Can I add a client to a started course myself?
Yes. Booking remaining sessions after the course starts only controls whether clients can book the course themselves. From the admin, you can always add a client with Add participant, even if the option isn't ticked. You choose which sessions to book (past sessions too), and the price is calculated for the sessions you select. To charge a different amount, for example the full course price, choose Custom price.
