Google Analytics (GA4)

Updated today

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is Google’s modern analytics platform that helps you understand visitor behavior on your website and track the performance of your sales. When connected with Zenamu, you can follow the entire client journey — from browsing your offerings (classes, courses, workshops, passes, memberships) to completing a purchase. These insights help you optimize both your services and your ad campaigns on Google.

⚠️ Important: To connect GA4, you’ll need your own Google Analytics account and a Measurement ID. This code is generated directly in Google Analytics, and our support team can’t assist with that step. Once you paste the Measurement ID into Zenamu, we’ll take care of sending all the data automatically.

👉 All tracking takes place on your public booking page:
https://app.zenamu.com/your-account-name

Which events are tracked?

  • page_view – every visit to your booking pages

  • view_item – when someone views a specific offering (class, course, workshop, membership, etc.)

  • begin_checkout – when a visitor opens the booking or checkout form

  • purchase – when a booking or purchase is successfully completed (e.g., class reservation, pass or membership purchase)

Each event includes detailed data: product ID and name, category, studio, price, currency, and quantity.

👉 If an item (class, course, workshop, etc.) has a price set in your local currency, that real value is passed along in the event. If the item is priced in “virtual currency” (such as credits or passes), or if the booking was made using credits, passes, or a membership, the event will report a value of 0.

How you can use this

  • Get clear reports on your revenue and bookings

  • Identify which products perform best and where people drop off in the process

  • Build custom audiences and use them in Google Ads (e.g., reach people who started checkout but didn’t complete it)

  • Track purchases automatically as conversions, and add additional ones if needed (e.g., checkout started)

How to connect Zenamu with Google Analytics

  1. In the Zenamu admin dashboard, go to Settings.

  2. Select Marketing & Promo.

  3. Find the Google Analytics (GA4) section.

  4. Paste your Measurement ID from Google Analytics into the text field.

  5. Click Save.

That’s it ✅ From now on, Zenamu will automatically send events to your Google Analytics account.

ℹ️ Note: To ensure conversions from your ad campaigns are tracked correctly, your ads must link directly to your Zenamu booking page (https://app.zenamu.com/your-account-name).

If you send visitors to your own website instead, conversions can’t be tracked automatically — because the tracking codes run only on your Zenamu booking page.
