This article is about the Visible on the public page option in an instructor's profile. It hides an instructor from the Instructors section of your public page and from the instructor filter in your schedule, while the instructor stays active in your system. It doesn't remove the instructor's name from the classes, courses and events they teach.
This is useful if:
The instructor works only internally
The instructor teaches only a one-time workshop and you don't want them in your instructor list (their name still shows on the workshop itself)
The person is a studio administrator or receptionist who doesn't teach
How do I hide an instructor?
Go to Settings > Instructors and collaborations and click the instructor.
Untick Visible on the public page.
Click Save.
The instructor stays fully active in your system, but they no longer appear in the Instructors section of your public page or in the instructor filter of your schedule.
You can't hide yourself. When you open your own profile, the Visible on the public page option isn't shown, so another Administrator of your studio has to untick it for you.
How to Make an Instructor Visible Again
If you want to make them visible again, open the instructor in Settings > Instructors and collaborations, tick Visible on the public page and click Save.
Important
Hiding an instructor:
Does not cancel their classes
Does not remove them from the system
Does not affect existing bookings
Does not remove their name from the classes, courses and events they teach
It only controls whether the instructor appears in the Instructors section of your public page and in the instructor filter.
