Sometimes you need to keep a class, course, or workshop visible only to you — for example, when preparing a new season or temporarily removing an offering. This guide explains how to control public visibility for all event types.
Where to find the setting
The visibility setting is located in the Advanced Booking Settings section when creating or editing a class, course, or workshop. This section is collapsed by default — click on it to expand.
Inside, you'll find a checkbox with a label that depends on the event type:
For classes: Class is Not Publicly Visible
For courses: Course is Not Publicly Visible
For workshops: Do Not Display Publicly
What happens when you enable it
When the checkbox is enabled:
The event will not appear on the public schedule.
Only you (as an admin) can see it and book clients for it.
Existing reservations, payments, and attendance records are not affected — nothing is deleted or cancelled.
Note: Hiding an event from the public schedule is not the same as cancelling it. It only changes the visibility — all data remains intact.
Related setting: block client bookings
In the same Advanced Booking Settings section, you'll also find another useful option:
Do Not Allow Clients to Book This Class — the event remains visible on the public schedule, but clients cannot book it themselves. Only you can add participants manually.
This is useful when you want clients to see the event in the schedule but manage bookings yourself.
Common use cases
Preparing a new season
Create your classes and courses with the visibility turned off. Once the content and pricing are ready, uncheck the box to make everything visible at once.
Temporarily removing an offering
Instead of deleting a class or cancelling sessions, just hide it. You can bring it back later without losing any data.
FAQ
Does hiding an event delete reservations or payments?
No. Hiding only affects visibility on the public schedule. All reservations, payments, and history remain unchanged.
Can I still book clients for a hidden event?
Yes. As an admin, you can see and manage hidden events normally — including adding participants manually.
