Can't find the option to download a receipt in your orders? Usually either the order has no receipt (for example, it hasn't been paid or was paid with credits), or your studio doesn't have receipt issuing enabled or is missing the required payment and tax settings. Your clients see the option to download a receipt in My orders only while Issue payment receipts is turned on. This article is about receipts and invoices you issue to your clients for their orders, not the invoices Zenamu issues to you for your plan (see Where Do I Find My Zenamu Invoice?).
What to check first
Is Issue payment receipts turned on in Settings → Payments?
Are the studio's Billing details and tax settings filled in correctly?
Is the order in a state that allows downloading a receipt?
Does your plan support the document type you want to issue?
Plan restriction: Simple payment confirmations (receipts) are available on every plan except the free Getting Started plan and Lite. Invoices (tax documents) are available on the Expert and Ultimate plans and during the trial.
How to enable receipt issuing
Go to Settings → Payments.
Fill in your Billing details (your name and address). Until they're filled in, you can't turn on Issue payment receipts.
In the Payment receipts section, turn on Issue payment receipts and complete the tax settings shown for your country.
Go back to an order and verify that you can now download the receipt with Download payment receipt.
Receipt or Invoice?
If you're a registered business in the EU (outside Hungary) and not VAT-registered, you can choose the Type of document to issue in the Payment receipts section:
Receipt — a simple proof of payment. Client billing information is not required.
Invoice — a full invoice. Client billing information is required for every order. Available on the Expert and Ultimate plans and during the trial.
If you're VAT-registered, Zenamu issues invoices automatically on the Expert and Ultimate plans and during the trial. On other plans, it issues receipts.
Common situations
There's no download button in the order detail
The Download payment receipt button appears only for orders that have been paid with money. It doesn't appear for unpaid orders, free bookings, or orders paid with credits, entries or a membership. For studios in Hungary that issue documents through Billingo or Számlázz.hu, the button is hidden because the documents come from that service.
If the button is there but clicking it opens a dialog instead of downloading the receipt, turn on Issue payment receipts, or check your plan: receipts aren't available on the Getting Started and Lite plans.
I only see a cancellation receipt, not a regular one
An order that was paid and then cancelled with a refund has both documents: the payment receipt for the original payment and the cancellation receipt for the refund. In Order details, Download payment receipt is a button, and Download cancellation receipt is in the more (⋯) menu.
Some orders have receipts, others don't
Receipts are issued for orders paid directly — by card, PayPal, bank transfer, or on-site payment. This applies to classes, courses, events, appointments, passes, memberships, and gift vouchers.
If a class was paid using credits or entries from a previously purchased pass, or through a membership, there won't be a separate receipt for it. Free bookings don't get a receipt either.
Tip: After changing your payment settings, test with a fresh order to make sure everything works correctly.

Where exactly do I enable receipt issuing?
In Settings → Payments, in the Payment receipts section: turn on Issue payment receipts. Your Billing details are on the same page, just above it.
What details need to be filled in?
At minimum, your studio's complete Billing details (name and address) and the correct tax regime for your situation. Until the billing details are filled in, Issue payment receipts can't be turned on.
I've enabled it but I still don't see receipts
Check the specific order: receipts exist only for orders paid by card, PayPal, bank transfer or on site. Orders paid with credits, entries or a membership and free bookings have none. For a cancelled order, check whether you need the regular receipt or the cancellation receipt. Also verify that your plan matches the document type you need.
Are Zenamu receipts official tax invoices, such as a nota fiscal in Brazil?
No. Zenamu's receipts and invoices aren't official tax documents in countries that require their own electronic invoicing system, such as the nota fiscal in Brazil, so you need to issue those outside Zenamu. The only invoicing services you can connect are Billingo and Számlázz.hu, for studios in Hungary.
