Credit Packs and Entry Passes: Flexible Payment Options

Updated yesterday

Some clients prefer paying for classes with credits or entry passes rather than reaching for their payment card every time they book. Offer them discounted credit packs or entry passes to purchase.

Credits function as virtual money that your clients can use to pay for classes. When booking, the class price (e.g., 170 credits) is deducted from their account.

Entry passes work as a bundle of prepaid classes (e.g., 10 entries for 100 EUR). When a client books a class, 1 entry is deducted from their account. Both credits and entries can also be used for courses and workshops, as long as you configure these pricing options when creating them.

Advantages

Simple for Both You and Your Clients

  • Everything is paid upfront

  • Credits or entries are automatically deducted after booking

  • Automatic registration from the waitlist

  • For credits, you can also set up transparent and fair cancellation fees

Which System Should You Choose?

Both systems share many common advantages (see above), so how do they differ?

  • Entry passes are a bit simpler than credits and work well if you always charge the same price per class. They're also great for promotions like "10+1 free entry". Ideal for individual instructors.

  • Credit packs are better suited for classes with varying prices. They also let you set up a cancellation fee window (e.g., clients only get 50% of their credits back if they cancel too close to the class start time).

You can also combine both systems.
