This article is about the Allow unregistered clients to book setting. It decides whether clients can book online without a Zenamu account. What a guest client can and can't do after booking is covered in Logged-in vs. guest client when booking — what's different.
How do I make clients register before they book?
Go to Settings > Bookings and rules and open the Bookings tab.
In the Bookings section, untick Allow unregistered clients to book.
Click Save at the bottom of the page.
What changes for clients when the setting is off?
When Allow unregistered clients to book is off, a client who isn't logged in can't complete a booking online. They see a message asking them to log in or create a Zenamu account first. This applies to classes, courses, events and appointments.
When the setting is on, anyone can book by entering just their name and email, without a Zenamu account.
