Restricting Memberships to Selected Classes

I would like to create separate memberships, restricting them to specific classes only.

This article explains how to make a membership valid only for selected classes, for example a membership just for Reformer Pilates classes. A membership pays only for the classes, courses and events that have it in their Price section, so you restrict it by keeping it only there. This works the same way for one-time and recurring memberships. To limit entry passes to certain classes, use pass categories instead.

How do I restrict a membership to selected classes?

  1. Create a separate membership for each group of classes, for example "Reformer" and "Hot yoga", in Settings › Passes and memberships (see How to create a one-time membership).

  2. Open a class, course or event that the membership should cover. In its Price section, keep the row of that membership and delete the rows of the other memberships with the trash icon (Delete).

  3. If the membership isn't listed, click Add another pricing option and choose it under Memberships.

  4. Save your changes and repeat this for the other classes, courses and events.

When you create a new class, class template, course or event, Zenamu adds your memberships to its price automatically, so remove the memberships that don't belong there each time, or set up a class template (see the tip below).

Create a membership for each class group you need.

When creating a class, event, or course, assign the membership you need and remove all others.

Tip: You can also pre-configure membership pricing options in a template

In Settings › Class templates, open the template and set up its Price section the same way. When you create a class from this template, the class gets the template's prices, including only the memberships you kept.
