When Do Clients Sign the Participant Waiver?

How and when the participant waiver is presented to clients during the booking process

If the participant waiver setting is enabled, clients are required to accept it when booking a class, course, event or appointment, not when purchasing products (credits, passes, memberships, or vouchers).

Clients can purchase any of these products without accepting the waiver.

The waiver is automatically triggered at the moment of their first booking.

Does a client sign the waiver for every booking or for each child?

A client signs the participant waiver once, not for every booking or for each child. The signature is saved with the client and the waiver version, not with a booking, so later bookings don't ask for it again until you edit the waiver. When a parent books for their child, the parent signs, and that one signature covers the bookings for all of their children. See Who signs the waiver when a parent books for a child?

I updated my waiver — what should I do?

Whenever you edit the waiver, a new version is created, and clients will be required to accept it when they make their next booking.

I want a client to sign the waiver now — what should I do?

Simply ask the client to make their next booking. The waiver will automatically appear during the booking process.

There's no need to manually send or assign the waiver.
