Courses: how to transfer a client between two courses

Zenamu doesn't have a direct "transfer client between courses" feature. Instead, the transfer is done in two steps: cancel the participation in the original course and create a new booking in the target course.

Step 1: Cancel participation in the original course

  1. Open the detail of a session in the original course from the calendar.

  2. In the Course Participants section, find the client.

  3. Click Cancel Course Participation.

  4. In the confirmation dialog, choose how to handle the payment:

    • Cancel Booking and Refund Full Amount — for card/PayPal payments.

    • Cancel Booking and Refund All Credits — for credit payments.

    • Cancel Booking and Refund Entry — for pass/entry payments.

    • Cancel Booking and Credit 1 Make-Up Session — to add a make-up session.

    • Mark the Booking as Cancelled (No Refund) — 100% cancellation fee.

  5. Confirm the cancellation.

Step 2: Create a new booking in the target course

  1. Go to the detail of the target course.

  2. Click Add Participant.

  3. Search for the client by name.

  4. Select the price variant and payment method.

  5. Confirm the booking.

Note: If the courses have different prices, the client will pay the price of the target course. Handle any price difference internally (surcharge, discount, or credit).

FAQ

Will attendance records transfer?

No. Attendance is tied to specific course sessions. After the transfer, the client starts with a clean attendance record in the target course.

Can a client switch mid-course?

Yes, but you need to manually check the capacity of the target course and choose the appropriate price variant.
