Some courses are led by two or more instructors at the same time, or instructors alternate between sessions. Below you'll find how to set this up in Zenamu.
Events and workshops — multiple instructors
For events and workshops, Zenamu fully supports assigning multiple instructors.
When creating or editing a workshop, find the Instructors field.
Select all instructors who will be leading the workshop.
All selected instructors will be displayed on the workshop in the public schedule.
Courses — one instructor
For courses, only one instructor can currently be assigned to the entire course.
How to handle alternating instructors in a course
If instructors alternate within a course, we recommend:
Set the main instructor (or the one who teaches most often) as the course instructor.
Mention in the course description that instructors alternate, and optionally list their names.
If you need to change the instructor during the course, you can update it in the course settings.
Regular classes — one instructor
For regular classes, one instructor can be assigned per class. If the class is led by multiple people, include this information in the class description.
Instructor substitution
If an instructor can't teach a class and someone else is covering for them:
Open the class detail.
Change the instructor to the substitute.
If you have notifications enabled, registered participants will automatically be notified about the instructor change. You can also send a bulk message from the class detail.
Removing an instructor who has upcoming classes
If you need to remove an instructor from the studio but they still have upcoming classes, the system will prompt you to transfer their classes to another instructor. The instructor can only be deleted after the transfer is complete.
