Recurring classes with a custom interval (every 2 weeks, monthly)

Updated today

Zenamu supports flexible recurrence settings for classes with various intervals. Below you'll find an overview of the available options.

Supported recurrence options

When creating a new class, the Repeat dropdown offers these options:

  • Does not repeat — a one-time class

  • Daily — every day

  • Weekly — every week on a selected day

  • Every weekday — Monday through Friday

  • Monthly — once a month on the same day

  • Custom — fully customizable interval

Custom interval (every 2 weeks, 3 weeks, etc.)

For non-standard intervals, use the Custom option:

  1. When creating a class, click the Repeat dropdown.

  2. Select Custom.

  3. Set the interval — for example, 2 weeks or 3 months.

  4. Choose the days of the week for the class to repeat on (for weekly intervals).

  5. Set when the recurrence should end — by a specific date or after a given number of occurrences.

The interval can be set from 1 to 12 weeks or months.

Limitations

  • The maximum recurrence span is 3 months from the first class date. For a longer period, create a new series once the current one expires.

  • Recurring classes are only available on a paid plan. On the free plan, you can only create one-time classes.

Setup examples

Class every 2 weeks (alternating weeks)

  1. Select Custom recurrence.

  2. Set the interval to 2 weeks.

  3. Choose the day of the week (e.g. Wednesday).

  4. Set the end date.

Class once a month

  1. Select Monthly from the preset options.

  2. The class will repeat on the same day of the month (e.g. the 15th of each month).

  3. Set the end date.

Alternative: courses

For a series of sessions on specific dates, consider creating a course. In a course, you can add any dates without being restricted to a regular interval — simply enter each session date manually. Clients sign up once for the entire course.

Tip: If you need a recurrence longer than 3 months, create a series for the first 3 months and then start a new one. Alternatively, use a course where you can add session dates up to one year ahead.
