Zenamu supports four types of activities. Each one fits a different purpose -- here's an overview to help you pick the right one.
Single class
A standalone class that isn't part of any series. Great for open classes where clients sign up on a one-off basis.
Clients book and pay for each class individually
Payment options: credits, entries from a pass, membership, or a one-time payment by card, bank transfer, or on-site
Example: Open yoga class, Monday at 6 PM
Course
A series of classes with fixed dates. Clients sign up for the entire course at once.
Payment for the full course or for individual classes (depending on your settings)
If the course doesn't fill up, remaining spots can be offered as individual classes
Example: Ceramics course, 8 sessions, every Wednesday
Note: For detailed course setup instructions, see the articles How to create a course and Common course settings.
Event (Workshop)
A one-time event -- a weekend seminar, masterclass, lecture, etc.
Can span multiple days or blocks, but it's treated as a single event
Clients pay a one-time fee for the whole event
Example: Weekend tantra workshop, Saturday + Sunday
Appointment
A service offered by a specific specialist that clients book as a 1:1 session. Ideal for personal consultations, massages, nutrition counseling, or private training.
Clients choose a service, specialist, date, and time on your public booking page
The specialist defines their availability and the system only shows open time slots
Bookings can require confirmation from the studio (depending on your settings)
Example: Personal training with Peter, 60 minutes, Tuesday at 10 AM
