How to switch your Zenamu plan between monthly and annual billing

This article is about the billing period of your studio's own Zenamu plan. Billing intervals of recurring memberships you sell to your clients are set up separately.

Zenamu offers both monthly and annual subscriptions. With an annual subscription, you get one month free: you pay for 11 months. There's no longer billing period than one year. You can switch between the two at any time, except on the older Lite plan.

You make both changes on the Plan page. On a computer, click the Plan button in the top bar next to your profile menu. On a phone, open the main menu and tap Plan. Only users with Administrator permissions (the super admin role) can open this page.

Switching from monthly to annual

  1. Open the Plan page.

  2. Click Upgrade subscription.

  3. Select the desired annual plan and confirm.

The unused days from your current monthly subscription will be automatically credited towards the annual price, and the annual period starts right away. You'll see the exact amount to pay on the confirmation screen.

Switching from annual to monthly

  1. Open the Plan page.

  2. Click Downgrade subscription.

  3. Select the desired monthly plan.

The switch from annual to monthly takes effect at the start of your next billing period. Your current annual plan remains active until then. Nothing from the annual payment is refunded.

If you don't pay for your plan by card, write to us and we'll make the change for you.

What if I accidentally chose the wrong subscription type?

If you accidentally selected the wrong subscription type (e.g., annual instead of monthly), contact our support as soon as possible. We'll make the change for you and adjust the billing accordingly.

Important: When switching from monthly to annual, a new billing period starts. The unused days from your current monthly plan are credited towards the new annual plan.

How do I check which subscription type I have?

On the Plan page, you can see:

  • Your current plan name (an annual plan has "annually" next to its name)

  • Subscription type (monthly / annual)

  • Expiration date of the current period

  • Start date of the next billing period
