What counts as 1 order toward your plan's monthly order limit?

This article explains which client bookings count toward the monthly order limit of your studio's Zenamu plan. It isn't about the Orders page, where you manage your clients' orders. For the limit on each plan and what happens when you reach it, see What Happens When I Reach My Plan's Order Limit or Course and Event Limit?

What counts as an order?

1 order = 1 booking that isn't cancelled, of:

  • a class

  • a single course session

  • a whole course

  • an event

  • an appointment

It doesn't matter whether the booking is paid, awaiting payment or unpaid, or how it's paid for. Bookings paid with credits, entries, a membership or a make-up session count too, and so do bookings you add for a client in the admin.

A booking counts in the month in which it was made, not in the month in which the class takes place. The counter resets every month on the day your plan started.

What doesn't count as an order?

Cancelled bookings don't count. Neither do purchases of passes (credits or entries), memberships (including recurring memberships), gift vouchers, videos or space rentals.

Why does a whole course count as only 1 order?

A course includes multiple sessions spread out over time, but it’s booked all at once.
If each session were counted individually, your order count would spike significantly every month you offer courses — which could force you to upgrade your plan unnecessarily.

Why do we limit plans based on the number of orders?

All plans include unlimited clients, card payments, and schedule embedding. Credit packs and entry passes are available from the Standard plan up. Plans differ mainly in the number of orders per billing period and in the advanced features they include.

Higher plans accommodate more orders and include additional features like advanced statistics and newsletter integrations.
